Unravelling

A quick update:

1) I took a HIV blood test last Wednesday.
2) I would know my results next Monday.
3) That is, if I go into Singapore and find myself in Raffles Medical Centre, CausewayPoint.
4) Which I would not do without taking another HIV test in KL and finding out whether or not I’m positive.
5) Because if I’m HIV-positive, I wouldn’t go back into Singapore
6) It isn’t a tantrum-response really, I just really don’t want a ‘Prohibited’ stamped on my passport. HIV+ folk, as like those with TB, beggar-rities, Opposition-ities - I would become a “Prohibited Immigrant”.
7) Yeap, so very soon, my future would be known. And knowing my parents, quite possibly my home, security and family is at stake too.

How fun.

  3. Wow Rex,

You sure seem to be the same place you were a year and one month ago when I last popped in.

My last advice to you was “If you have made your choice then stick with it. Don’t masturbate. Don’t have unprotected sex. . . .People who have decided to renounce their sexuality do not talk about free-balling, the 20 unprotected encounters they have had, nor about Jude Law’s penis, etc.”

You described yourself as “addicted” and stated that your blog is “mainly for myself. Reading back my blog entries from last month gave me the sense that I’ve changed though matter how minute it is - imagine a year later. FYI, when I blogged about that encouters I had, it was mainly the sense of regret and worry that I might have got AIDS. From what I’m going through, I don’t want to repeat that.”

It sounds like you still have body issues, a bitchy attitude, and you are still compulsively seeking sex, including dangerous sex. If you are going to change, why not do it instead of complaining about what you do?

  4. Wow, RAC, you are mean-spirited and judgemental. We are all rooting for Rex in his difficult struggle with his conscience and his beliefs. He’s only a young guy trying to work out what he needs to do in his life - just like all the rest of us, struggling with our own problems. May you be shown more love and compassion than you show others.

Rex, I’ve been following your blog and really hope that since this last post in July, that things are working out for you in your life, your health and the choices you are having to make.

    All best wishes
    Yanna
